Mind Games Basketball Academy was founded by Antonio
McGinnis in September 2001. Antonio played High School
basketball at Butler High School in Huntsville, AL were in his
senior year was named City MVP by “The Huntsville Times” .
After graduating from Butler he went on to attend Texas A&M were
he funded his education through a full athletic scholarship. After
graduating from A&M he got the opportunity to travel the Globe
playing basketball and hosting youth fundamental basketball
camps. After returning home from his final professional season
In Australia his focus was geared to helping young people in his
community achieve even greater heights. Thus Mind Games
Academy was found. His goal was to teach young people the
fundamentals of the game and to show them that they could have
fun while playing the game they had grown to love. The
academy is geared toward helping young people develop the
skills necessary to compete on any level. The primary focus of
the academy is ball handling and shooting. We teach skills that
kids can continue to practice long after they leave the academy.
Every kid can compete if he is properly equipped.
